In considering the rising COVID case counts in Calgary, we have shifted to a virtual event for September, but hope to host an in-person gathering in October (stay tuned). In the meantime, please join us for a great September virtual session on the upcoming Federal election.
The format of this event is modelled after a very successful PR & Politics session we held following the 2019 Federal Election. We even have 2 of the 3 original panel members participating!
Dr. Peter Ryan, APR, and Archie McLean, two Mount Royal University associate professors and political prognosticators, will return to discuss the 2021 Canadian Federal Election from a communications perspective.
Dr. Ryan will present on the partisan web and social media campaigns, showing how they have impacted polling over the race so far. And Archie McLean will provide an overview of the media and misinformation that affected it. This will be a fascinating and very timely session, just days before Canadians head to the polls!
