If you have election fever, you won’t want to miss our U.S. election watch party on November 3, 2020. It will be a game-changer no matter the outcome. We have lined up some great speakers  for this one-hour event to get you primed for the results as they roll in later in the evening.

Dr. Greg Anderson, professor of political science at the University of Alberta, will start the evening with a quick overview of the U.S. government structure and election cycle, then touch on issues particular to this election including mail-in/absentee ballots, voter suppression, the importance of the vice presidential race and the role of social media.

Gary Mar, president and CEO of the Canada West Foundation, and former Alberta government representative in the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C., will explore the broader issues for Americans and what Canadians should watch for. There’ll be lots of time for Q&As and conversation.
