Over the past few months, CPRS has been instrumental in leading the discussion and providing industry best practices around COVID-19. Now we’re addressing the negative impact of the pandemic on our public relations and communications colleagues. CPRS is proud to introduce a new membership category called Member in Transition, which provides additional support to individuals caught in unexpected circumstances. This new membership tier is available to both new and current members who’ve recently experienced a personal financial downturn, ensuring they can stay connected to their peers and profession. Membership dues for this category will be $155.00 plus the local society fee and applicable taxes. This will provide a 50 per cent price break from the cost of a Practitioner-level membership, which CPRS has committed to offer for one year from date of joining or renewal.
CPRS values your privacy and would like to emphasize that becoming a Member in Transition will be a confidential process. To request this new category, or if you have any questions, please reach out to your National Membership Coordinator, Laura Mills at membership@cprs.ca or 416-239-7034 ext. 249.
For more than 70 years, CPRS has advanced the public relations and communications management professional and the careers of our members. Together, we will continue to be the champions for professionals across Canada.
