It is more apparent than ever that we are stronger as a united community than separate and apart. Even if that means social distancing and taking precautions to stay safe from the global pandemic that is affecting us all on some level right now.
Currently, the world is relying on the public relations and communications profession to be thought leaders, information carriers, message disseminators and the credible voice of information on the current state of affairs. As communicators, we are all feeling the pressure right now, but we’re not alone. We are in this together and I value being a CPRS member more than ever in times like these.
Being able to reach out to colleagues to share ideas, troubleshoot, gain advice and just talk has been a valuable resource and I especially appreciate it right now. Along with that, being a CPRS member grants professional communicators the ability to obtain access to professional development seminars, webinars, networking events, the national conference, awards and much more.
If you are looking for some extra support, sense of community and increased knowledge to stay on top of the communications industry trends, we’d love to welcome you into our community during Membership Month or anytime of the year.
