Having worked in communications for over ten years, Stephanie has held a variety of roles in the B2B, B2C, and non-profit sectors both in Canada and internationally. Originally from Montreal, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Ottawa before moving abroad to work in corporate communications for the Anantara Vacation Club hospitality group in Bangkok, Thailand. She was also a communications manager for an event production company in Budapest, Hungary before returning home after four years away in 2019.
Since settling back in Canada, Stephanie has transitioned from hospitality communications to the non-profit sector, having managed communications for the national association of IP lawyers, IPIC, before taking on her current role as Communications Manager for the National Police Federation (NPF) in October 2020. The NPF was certified as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s first-ever union in 2019 and currently represents 20,000 RCMP members serving across the country and internationally. It is the largest police labour relations organization in Canada and the second largest in North America.
In her spare time, Stephanie likes to explore Calgary’s restaurant scene, enjoy its many parks and nearby mountains with her four-legged companion Pepper, and catch up on the latest documentaries.
