Sarah has spent her career in many areas of public relations, working with some of Canada’s most recognizable brands. She has executed communications strategy including media relations, crisis communications, event production and marketing. Some of her previous roles include time spent at Sobeys Canada, Edmonton Oilers and as a consultant on Bachelor Canada.

Sarah returned to Calgary in 2013 for a role at the University of Calgary, and joined local tech success story Benevity in 2021. As a member of the marketing team, she brings the company’s corporate purpose mission to life with campaigns and events.

Born in Calgary, Sarah has lived and worked in many major Canadian cities (and some not so major), and received her Masters in Communications from Royal Roads University in 2020. She joined the board of CPRS Calgary in 2020 and is enjoying learning from PR colleagues from across the city.

Away from work and volunteering, Sarah enjoys a walk along the Bow River, reading biographies, watching documentaries and traveling to Palm Springs in the winter to soak up the sun and mid-century modern architecture (when the pandemic is over!).
