CPRS Calgary has a number of volunteer opportunities for PR people at every level, giving you the chance to work with and get to know our dedicated Board. If you’ve got a just a few hours per month, we can find a role for you.
Here are a few of the opportunities you might explore:
Communications Portfolio – assist with our monthly enewsletter, social media content, website content review and editing, blog writing, etc.
Membership Portfolio – assist with planning and executing our Membership Month activities in March, liaising with new and existing members to build membership recruitment and retention.
Professional Development & Events Portfolio – assist in the planning, logistics, and hosting of our monthly professional development and networking events.
Accreditation Portfolio or Education & Students Portfolio – if you’re a senior, accredited practitioner, why not volunteer to assist with APR mock exams? Or you could sign up to be a mentor to one of our PR students, or take part in student portfolio reviews and mock interviews.
